THE STORY BEHIND 42
42: The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything. Cason Terjeson’s favorite book was, A Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and as a teenager – lived his life according to the concept of 42. Whenever a question was asked and the answer was too hard to find, or maybe just too complex for the world to understand, he would always answer with 42.
Cason, an avid reader, science guy, friend, brother and son. He lived his life generously, always offering a smile and greeting to those he met. Cason’s favorite number was 42; a nod to his favorite book: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy where 42 is the answer to life and the universe. We don’t have the answers for Cason’s death at age 16, but we’re sure he’d say it’s just 42. The number 42 continues to appear in our organization: 42 is hidden in Cason’s Place’s 501(c)3 number and is a part of their PO Box mailing address. Only the future knows where 42 will show up next.

About Your Donations, Where & How They are used
IS MY DONATION TAX DEDUCTIBLE? HOW CAN I OBTAIN A RECEIPT?
Yes, your donations to Cason’s Place is tax deductible. For donations made online, a form will be mailed to you in January. Each mailed or hand delivered donation will receive a written postcard in the form of a thank you for your taxes.
CAN I GIVE A DONATION IN MEMORY OF A LOVED ONE?
Cason’s Place is all about keeping the memory of loved ones alive. That said, a gift in memory of your loved is welcomed and is recognized on yearly posted donation board.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO GIVE?
Supplies always welcome: Donations we’re always thankful for include: triple AA batteries, Mold Magic from Crayola, Tempera and Acrylic paints for art room, etc.
